I was totally amazed at the performance of the "floormate", it not only gentle scrubs the hardwood floor but also sucks up the grains of sand along with the dirty water, you should see what the water looks like, I cringed. If you spray excess water/solution just use the "dry" setting to pick-up the excess. So long Swiffer.

didn't last very long, March 5, 2012 This review is from: Hoover FH40010TV FloorMate Hard Floor Vacuum Cleaner (Kitchen) I really like how the cleaner vacuums the floor, then scrubs it. Getting ready to order my 2nd one as the first one has
died. the gearbox locked and I can't get it to move. Also, the brushes seem to me they should last longer and maybe be a
little stiffer, like real scrub brushes.Easy to use, and does a very good job. Maybe put metal gears in the gearbox and
do away with the plastic.
