Previously owned a Eureka bagless, also disappointment. This time, I researched and tested models for comparison. Overall, Luv400T is performing better than expected, my Pros and Cons (I have high pile carpets and ceramic tile floors):
PROS:
1. Box lightweight/vacuum easy to assemble.
2. The bagless container EASY to empty, design limits the mess (it compacts the floor debris so it comes out in a solid versus loose and blowing around).
3. Switch suction level and carpet/floor option using fingertip control.
4. Foot pedal to adjust height level. Attachments easy to switch.
5. Lighter/easier to push than Kenmore Intuition. Better carpet suction than Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary model.
6. Luv400T is QUIET compared to most (my pets don't run away).

It has excellent suction and is not too heavy and is reasonably easy to push around. The bagless feature works reasonably well and is easy to empty. They boast about the length of the hose, but when the vac. is on it is not easy to stretch it to it,s maximum length, but the various attachments are handy. The 40foot length of the of the cord is handy, but I wish that it had a retractable storage feature. I have only had it for about 2 months so time will tell if it will last. Based on my experience to-date I would recommend it.

Most of the reviews I have seen have been positive. I have also been pleased with other LG products I have in my house, and I decided I would get this vacuum as a result. Anyway, I just got my vacuum a few days ago. I know it is extremely early to write a review for a product that I have just received, but I will update this at a later time. I also want to describe the whole process of setting it up, while it is fresh in my head, for anyone considering buying a vacuum. The vacuum comes more or less completely assembled and ready to use right out of the box. The only attachments that have to get connected are the hose and cleaning wand/handle assembly. It took about five minutes for me to unwrap the parts and get everything all hooked up. The directions were really easy to follow, and they allow for you to get the vacuum up and running in no time.
